Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, hardworking, flexible and reliable individual with a fantastic sense of humour to join our amazing school team. This role includes opening and locking the school, responsibility for the cleaning of the school (undertaking cleaning and managing cleaning staff), liaising with contractors, undertaking repairs and maintenance to the building and grounds. A willingness to work flexibly and working extra hours as necessary to meet the needs of the school is essential. Experience in a relevant trade would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Open and lock the school daily.
- Manage cleaning and cleaning staff; undertake cleaning tasks as required.
- Liaise with contractors for maintenance and repairs.
- Undertake repairs and maintenance to the building and grounds.
- Work flexibly and be prepared to work extra hours to meet the needs of the school.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in a relevant trade would be advantageous.
- The school is fully committed to safeguarding; a satisfactory enhanced DBS check will be required.
