Overview
Personal Progress Mentor (PPM) – Thank you for your interest in this post at WQE. We believe that this is an exciting time to join us, offering a real opportunity to make a difference in this Sixth Form College, which operates across two campuses (next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road). Personal Progress Mentors are a team created from our current staff and new staff who join the College to support and guide students. We are expanding our pastoral team to provide excellent pastoral support and reduce the student caseload for individual postholders while increasing leadership capacity within the team.
The Personal Progress Mentors oversee the academic progress of students to ensure they achieve their full potential at the College and guide them to get the most from their time here. They provide the key point of contact for the students they coach, guiding and supporting them in all aspects of their college life.
Responsibilities

Employment Details
This is a full-time, term-time permanent post commencing as soon as possible.
The salary will be on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff pay scale 7 – 10, which ranges from £25,951 to £27,733 per annum pro-rata. The actual starting salary for this post is £22,525 but may be negotiated based on experience.
