South Staffordshire College are looking to employ a highly motivated and inspirational individual to join our Learning Support team at Futures, a purpose-built specialist facility at Torc campus that provides a high quality, fully inclusive learning environment for our students with severe and complex learning difficulties and disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first class support for students to develop education, communication, social, emotional and personal skills to assist with their preparation into adulthood.
  • Contribute to delivering personalised study programmes designed to support each learner to achieve their full potential.
  • Work effectively and imaginatively within a team to support students with learning differences and/or disabilities.

Qualifications and experience

  • Previous experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults with learning differences and/or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of SEND and the Education, Health and Care process is advantageous.
