Overview

The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Kitchen Assistant at Greenside Primary School, Greenside Lane, Droylsden, M43 7RA. Our Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop the aspiration, motivation and to be successful; we have high ambitions for all young people in our academies and all roles at our academy are central to ensuring that we work to support this.

Role start date: October 2025

Role details: Kitchen Assistant full-time Salary £23,656. The role is permanent, part-time 10 hours per week, Term Time Only. With an actual salary £5,623 (Grade A Point 2).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and food service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure equipment and workspaces are kept in top condition.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality meals and a great experience for pupils.

Selection process and visits

  • Applications close at 09:00 on Thursday 25th September 2025, although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
  • Interviews will take place on Friday 26th September 2025.
  • Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.
