Hartlebury CE VC Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated individual to join our established team in the dual role of Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor. Temporary positions until 31 August 2026 available, starting February 2026.
Teaching Assistant (TA2): £25,583 FTE, 17.5 hours per week, Term Time only.
Lunchtime Supervisor: NJC Scale 1, point 2 £24,796 FTE, 5 hours per week, Term Time only.
Responsibilities:
- Support children within the classroom, in small groups, or individually to facilitate learning and improve educational outcomes.
- During the midday break, ensure the safety and well-being of pupils by encouraging positive play, fostering social skills, and maintaining a supervised environment across the dining hall and playground.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Good experience working with children in a school setting.
- An understanding of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- The ability to engage children in active play and manage behaviour positively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative "team player" attitude.
