Overview
Actual Annual Salary: £35,692 - £38,080 based on hours and weeks worked. Full Time Equivalent Salary: £39,649 – £42,301 (CLF Grade F). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only, plus insets, plus 2 weeks (10 days).
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Additional role info: Working Pattern = Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day 8am to 4pm with 30-minute lunch & Friday 7 hours 8am to 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of exam assistants across a double exam centre (John Cabot Academy 11-16 and CLF Post 16, 16-19).
- Lead a network of exam officers across the secondary school sector of the trust, providing training, collaboration and support.
- Ensure centre offers full range of examinations and qualifications across multiple boards and levels; oversee knowledge of examinations in school setting.
- Support staff and students during pressurised and stressful times.
About you
- Advanced knowledge of the full range of examinations and qualifications across KS4 & KS5, in a fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of exam board rules, subject specifications, JCQ guidance, legislation; ability to apply in practical environment.
- Demonstrates ability to operate at NVQ level 4 in business and administration or equivalent.
- Experience of leading within a pressurised setting with high accountability; lead a team to deliver accurately and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage resources, budget and resolve challenges to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with staff, students, and parents working collaboratively.
