The Priory Learning Trust (Somerset Business Award winner for Employer of the Year) is looking to recruit an Attendance & Student Services Assistant to work at Worle Community School – An Academy site in Weston-super-Mare. This is a non-teaching role focused on supporting students, staff and families on improving student attendance across the academy.

Responsibilities

Working within the general direction of the Attendance Officer/Student Services Manager, undertake a broad range of administrative duties to support the school in an effective and positive manner. Provide comprehensive student services support throughout the day, alongside a variety of administrative tasks for attendance.

  • Experience of working in a school or a similar environment.
  • Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively.
