Our aim is for our children to dream, believe and achieve and our embedded STEAM curriculum has been specifically written and deliberately designed for children living in Oxfordshire.We follow The National Curriculum and deliver it through a Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics lens. As part of our **GLF Oxford/Reading Teacher Training Hub based in Didcot,** you'll receive exceptional training, support, and a choice of training routes, from our employment-based routes to our fee-funded routes, where you could pay trainee fees through a student loan or potentially receive a tax-free training bursary.As a trainee at GLF, you'll join a supportive team that prioritises your professional development, well-being, and workload. You'll gain hands-on experience in various school settings that work for you, including GLF's nurseries and primary and secondary schools within our Trust.**Teaching is a rewarding, stable career with a strong starting salary, additional financial benefits, and many opportunities for career growth.****Qualifications and Eligibility**To be eligible for this teacher training route you will have the following qualifications:* A degree awarded by a UK higher education provider or recognised equivalent qualification. (For Secondary courses at least 50% of your degree will be in the subject you wish to teach.)* A Degree 2:2 or above (may accept a 3rd class or ordinary degree in particular circumstances)* Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths, and Science for Primary routes only* Demonstrate you hold the right to work and study in the UK and have been a resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years.* For employment-based training routes, classroom teaching experience will be required, as you will be teaching from day one of the course, and you will need a school to offer an employment contract.* If you have overseas qualifications but the right to work in the UK, we will need a statement of comparability for your qualifications. Find out more HERE* **For stage 2 of the application process, you will need to complete a DfE application form to train to teach, meet all criteria for entry into Initial Teacher Training and undertake an interview.****Funding/Salary**GLF also offer fee-funded full and flexible training routes, but you can apply for:* Tuition fee loans to cover all your course fees.
