We are currently looking to recruit a Site Team Manager to maintain & manage the Continu Plus Academy siteSalary Grade: NJC 7-12 - Full Year (28 days holiday - taken during school holidays)Hours: 31.5 hours P/WDo you think you are up to the job? If so, we welcome you to apply for the positionThe postholder will responsible for maintaining & managing the site in a good state of repair and appearance, including all buildings, facilities, drives and pathways, grounds and gardens. Provide Driving as necessary, including regular morning transport runs and bringing students into school as appropriate.Main Responsibilities & Duties:• Work effectively with Headteacher and Finance Manager in setting and maintaining the budget• Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks which are within her/his competence,including replacing locks, the unblocking of sinks, drains and toilets.• Undertake cleaning duties as required, including clearing body fluid and vomit washing walls general cleaning as required.• Assist in the moving and replacing of furniture and equipment as required.• Assist in ensuring drains and gullies are kept free flowing and clean.• Shall undertake seasonal duties as required, for example, painting and decorating to be completed during school holidays.• Undertake Mini-bus Driving Duties as Necessary as either driver or Escort• Undertake grounds maintenance/gardening and the collection of litter from aroundthe school site• Shall receive, and distribute deliveries following school policies and procedures• Assist in the building of furniture, the putting up of fencing and display boards, and the installation of equipment• Ensure that any contractors have been approved in line with safeguarding• Manage all contractors on site, ensuring that all health and safety requirements• Ensure the Fire Risk Assessment is up to date and reviewed annually• Ensure the premises are adequately heated and lit for work and that security lights are fully working when the building is not occupied• Be proactive with submitting bids for site improvements• Be school fire marshal• Ensure health & safety checks are carried out daily, to comply with health & safety regulations• Liaise with all site related services & be first point of contactQualifications• Clear DBS – enhanced• Full driving license with ability to drive minibuses• Strong organisation & communication skills• Flexible and willing to support colleagues• Takes pride in a safe and well-presented school site• Grade 4+ in English & Maths### AttachmentsJob Advert - Site ManagerApplication Form Support Staff### Safeguarding Statement:ContinU Plus Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.We particularly welcome applications from under represented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
