Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion & Ethos), you will lead on the day-to-day management of student behaviour and take accountability for implementing effective behaviour policies, processes and proactive intervention strategies.**Key responsibilities:*** Develop proactive, preventative strategies and timely interventions to manage day-to-day behaviour, respond to incidents, gather evidence and recommend high-level actions to SLT.* Line manage and inspire the Student Support Team* Monitor and analyse data regarding the effectiveness of behaviour interventions, sharing insight with SLT and Heads of House.* Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students, supporting teachers with group/individual behaviour strategies and providing targeted pastoral support for social, emotional and learning needs.**About you**We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and resilient leader who is passionate about securing high standards and excellent outcomes for all young people.**Qualifications & experience:*** Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience, OR extensive relevant professional experience alongside a proven track record of managing effective teams.* Strong knowledge of up-to-date safeguarding and child protection legislation.**Skills & attributes:*** Personable and approachable, with the ability to quickly establish warm, constructive relationships with students, colleagues, parents/carers and stakeholders across the trust.* Able to navigate complex situations independently, make agile, confident decisions and handle challenging scenarios with professionalism.* Highly organised, consistent and proactive in setting high standards across all areas of school life while upholding the trust’s core values.**Next steps**To register your interest please complete the online expression of interest before 9am on 13th October.
