This rare opportunity offers you to chance to work in both of our wonderful purpose-built day Nurseries, while having the flexibility to choose shifts around your availability.**Hours, Salary & Benefits:**Hours: Based at one of, or between Wishford’s Day Nurseries, this is a flexible role. 0 hour contract. 12 months fixed term.Salary: Up to £13.45 per hour depending on skills and experience.Benefits:* Shopping discount card* 5% employer pension* Accrued paid holidays + bank holidays* Access to the group's counselling scheme Access to fully funded apprenticeships Discretionary Christmas stand down Contribution to mileage, if working multi site Personal accident at work coverSkills and Responsibilities:* An excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum* Experience in planning inspiring activities for children aged 0-5 to explore and enjoy* Have a completed Early Years Level qualification (Level 2 or above) (not essential)* Be confident in creating a stimulating environment that enables children to become confident learners Excellent communicator with the ability to quickly build relationships with the children and their parents* To plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities focusing on each individual child’s interests* To ensure that a safe, stimulating environment is maintained for children while overseeing the implementation of activities* To work alongside the staff team to ensure that the Nursery’s ethos is being fulfilled* To work with all staff in promoting good staff practices across the Nursery and always ensure the safety of the children and their environment* To liaise with and fully support your room leader* To ensure that all child development records are updated, where applicable* To discreetly attend to young children’s toileting needs* To agree to the policies and procedures and carry them out to the best of your ability* To adhere to all nursery policies on safeguarding, health and safety and food hygiene etc.### Safeguarding Statement:Heathcote House Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to understand and share this commitment.
