- Salary: Scale 3 point 5‑6 (£19,220‑£19,525 pro rata actual salary)
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30 am‑3.30 pm (includes 30 minutes unpaid break)

Responsibilities
- Support children in lessons, including medical needs and social and emotional well‑being.
- Model learning, work with pupils and provide feedback on their efforts.
- Assist the class teacher with classroom and behaviour management, helping children take responsibility, correct mistakes and feel positive about themselves.
- Occasionally step into the class teacher role to cover classes for short, fixed spells with pre‑planned work.
- Work under the guidance of teaching staff, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and outside agencies to implement and evaluate agreed work programmes.

- Experience of supporting children in primary school.
- Flexibility, commitment and initiative.
- Effective communication with teaching staff and SLT, and efficient teamwork within the Etchells team.
- Willingness to undertake training where needed.
