We are looking for a technically strong tax adviser to join our growing advisory practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex tax problems, advising business owners and high-net-worth individuals, and delivering practical, commercially focused advice. The position is highly flexible and can be structured around the right individual, whether on a full-time, part-time or consultancy basis. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting clients, mentoring colleagues where appropriate, and helping shape the future direction of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients on UK tax matters
  • Providing technical analysis and written advice on complex tax issues
  • Reviewing and developing tax planning opportunities
  • Supporting colleagues with technical tax matters and queries
  • Participating in client meetings and managing some client relationships
  • Identifying tax risks and opportunities for clients
  • Contributing to thought leadership, technical content or business development activities where desired
  • Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the firm

Qualifications and Experience

  • CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Significant experience in UK tax advisory work
  • Strong technical knowledge across one or more areas including private client, owner-managed business, corporate or international tax
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues
  • Experience delivering high-quality advice
