Our client are a diversified energy and commodity business and an experienced investor in and developer of oil, gas, mining and renewables projects and infrastructure. They are looking to recruit a lawyer as Senior Corporate Counsel to be located in their London office.
This role will have a broad remit to cover M&A, corporate structuring, corporate finance and some commercial matters. Some company secretarial work will also feature. The business is currently operating in over 40 jurisdictions and has exciting plans to grow further through acquisition.
The successful candidate is likely to have 8+ years of professional experience within M&A and corporate work. Candidates who are currently at a senior level in a law firm or in-house role will be considered. Full training and support will be provided to get up to speed quickly but experience of oil / gas / mining would be advantageous. Candidates outside of this range and profile will be considered.
