Job Description Our client are a commodities conglomerate and a well established investor in and developer of mining, oil, gas and renewables projects and infrastructure. They are looking to recruit a lawyer as M&A Counsel to be located in Switzerland. The business has enjoyed significant success over the last few years and is looking to continue this by growing further through acquisition. They have an extensive slate of deals that they are working on and are looking for an M&A lawyer to work alongside the deals team. You will lead on a broad range of M&A and wider corporate finance matters in multiple jurisdictions. Someone with an interest and aptitude for commercial decision making will do really well here. The successful candidate is likely to have 3+ years of professional experience leading M&A transactions. They will be qualified in England & Wales, USA, Australia or another Common Law jurisdiction. Candidates who are currently at an Associate level in a law firm or in an in-house role will be considered. Full training and support will be provided to get up to speed quickly but experience of oil / gas / mining would be advantageous. Candidates outside of this range and profile will be considered.
