Our client are a leading commodities trading and shipping company with a growing London office. They are now looking to hire a senior Commodities Compliance Director, reporting into the Head of Compliance. You will be part of a large global team with plans to grow further to keep pace with business expansion. You will be expected to lead on matters from day one and work collaboratively with colleagues around the world. Training and support to get up to speed quickly will be provided. There is a broad range of work on offer to include handling all of the day to day commodity trading compliance and regulatory matters across a variety of commodity products. These include physical and financial oil, LNG, metals and energy products. The successful candidate will also be involved with broader compliance projects looking at regulatory implementation and the development of the global compliance programme. Experience of AML, KYC and global sanctions programmes would be a significant plus. Our client are keen to see applicants with 8+ years of experience from competitor organisations in either the shipping or trading world be that in a commodities trading house, energy company or Investment Bank.
