Legal Counsel - Shipping & Trading

Our client is a well known shipping and trading company. They are now looking to hire a commercial dry shipping or commodities / international trade lawyer to join their London office.

You will advise on a broad range of matters. Dry shipping disputes and day‑to‑day commodities trading work will form the bulk of the role. Full training will be provided, if required, particularly for anyone joining from a law firm dry‑shipping team. Team fit is extremely important as you will be working with charterers, operators and traders from day one in a supportive and collegiate working environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years professional experience of dry shipping / maritime / commodities law, but individuals outside of this range will also be considered.
