We are looking for an experienced Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our growing engineering team. ETC specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality custom engineering and training equipment for a diverse range of clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled individual to help deliver high-standard fabrication and pipework installations across our projects. The role will involve working in our workshops in Kilmarnock and Irvine and on customer sites across the West of Scotland.

Typical Work Includes:

  • Stainless and carbon pipework fabrication
  • TIG welding pipe assemblies
  • Installing pipe systems on customer sites
  • Fabricating components in the workshop
  • Working on custom engineering and training equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Measure, fabricate and install pipework systems
  • TIG weld and assemble pipe components
  • Prepare materials by cutting, clamping and fitting
  • Inspect welds to ensure high quality and defect‑free finishes
  • Follow company safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in pipe fitting and fabrication
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • TIG welding experience required
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)
