About the role

We're looking for a Power BI Developer to help turn data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the organisation. Working with stakeholders at all levels, you'll create reporting and dashboards that help teams understand performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and interpret live business data relating to sales, stock, customers, and finance.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business teams and senior managers to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
  • Present complex data in a clear and meaningful way for non-technical audiences.
  • Help automate recurring reports and improve data processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of reporting frameworks and data structures.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support projects, operational requirements, and business decisions.
  • Take ownership of issues and seek to provide swift solutions.
  • Support colleagues with data and reporting queries when required.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of company information at all times.

  • Confident using Microsoft Excel to work with data, spot trends, and create useful reports.
  • Experience creating Power BI reports and dashboards that are clear, useful, and easy to understand.
  • Able to analyse data, find patterns, and turn the results into clear insights through regular and one-off reporting.
  • Comfortable working with CSV files, databases, and other structured data to prepare information for reporting.
  • Ability to communicate data insights in a clear, accessible way for non-technical users to support decision-making.
