Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer – Electrical Software Solutions

Location: South of England (home-based)

Role: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell with purpose: Promote industry-leading electrical software to engineers, utilities, and industrial clients across the South of England.
  • Be the expert: Help customers understand how our tools solve real-world engineering and electrical challenges.
  • Find & grow opportunities: Engage both new prospects and existing customers with tailored, value-driven solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience (ideally in electrical products, tools, or software).
  • Background as an electrical engineer, or similar – you know the industry from the inside.
  • Strong communication and people skills – you’re confident talking with everyone from on-site engineers to technical directors.
  • Self-motivation, a structured work style, and a passion for helping clients succeed.
  • Willingness to travel across the South of England (with mileage reimbursed).

Desired Skills

  • Experience with account management or enterprise sales.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation trends in the electrical or energy sector.
