Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Surveyor to join their growing, market-leading business on a flexible, contract basis. Based in Chatham, Kent, they are a well-established and forward-thinking company delivering high-quality residential air-conditioning installations throughout the M25 area. Candidates are required to live within, or close to the M25. Product and Survey Training will be provided at our client’s training centre.

- £200 p/sale – commission.
- Minimum four Surveys p/day guaranteed.
- Typical Survey conversion rate: 50%.
- Product training.
- Full Survey training.
- Basic salary: £15 per hour plus commission.
- Team events.

Flexible hours (Monday – Sunday). Hourly wage: £15 + £200 per sale.
You will be responsible for:- Carrying out video and Site Surveys using our client’s internal software forms to capture information in order to issue quotations to their customers.
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Producing quotations from Surveys completed.
- Developing positive relationships with clients and dealing with any queries or concerns as they arise.
- Making your own way to the customer's property, in a timely manner.
- Complete customer onsite and video Surveys relating to their proposed residential air conditioning installation using our client’s forms and software as per your training.
- Help maintain customer relations.
- To be confident with strangers in face-to-face site or video Surveys (this is key).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to listen to customer's requirements.
- Experience in face-to-face selling is an advantage.
- Proficient in Zoom and other modern Office and conference call software.
- Experience within sales and building services.
- Confident telephone user.
- People person (ability to close sales with confidence).
- Personally organised.
- Punctual and timely.
- Good understanding of computers and keeping software systems updated.
- Good understanding of computers and other cloud-based software such as CRMs.
- Experience with building services and or HVAC industry is beneficial.
