Primary School Chef Manager – Term-Time | £25,000 | Monday–Friday

Location: Godalming

Working Hours: 7:00am–3:30pm (40 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days 3 additional weeks)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and motivating a team of 2 General Assistants
  • Designing and delivering high-quality, seasonal menus
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient service every day
  • Managing budgets, stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Maintaining the highest food safety and health & safety standards
  • Creating a positive, supportive team culture

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef in a similar setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for fresh food and outstanding service
  • Excellent understanding of HACCP, allergens, and food hygiene standards
  • Confident managing budgets and operational processes
