We’re recruiting a Development Chef for a leading education catering provider with a strong social purpose and national presence.
This role combines menu development, food standards, and operational support, working closely with sites to drive quality, consistency, and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Developing, testing, and localising menus and recipes
- Driving food quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Supporting site audits, mobilisations, and improvement plans
- Assisting with presentations and retention activity
- Supporting and developing culinary talent
About you
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience
- Strong understanding of menu development, cost control, and operations
- Organised, confident, and calm under pressure
