We are recruiting an experienced and driven Chef Manager to lead a large-scale, high-volume catering operation within the education sector. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing multiple outlets and off-site service delivery, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Operation:
- Large, fast-paced education catering site including: Main Restaurant, Sixth Form, Shack, and 2 Pods
- 2 off-site primary school delivery locations
- Team: 1 Chef, 1 Customer Service, 20 General Assistants
- A complex, high-volume operation with multiple service points and a busy delivery schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a large catering team
- Oversee high-volume food production and service across multiple outlets
- Manage off-site catering and delivery logistics
- Control ordering, stock, food costs, and waste
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and H&S
- Drive standards, performance, and customer satisfaction
- Plan rotas, training, and team development
About You:
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef in high-volume catering
