We are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to lead the food offering within a high-quality corporate environment in Surrey. Catering for up to 300 customers per day, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to take ownership of a busy kitchen and deliver a fresh, authentic and high-quality food offer.
The role requires a chef with a strong understanding of international cuisine, authentic flavours and traditional cooking techniques, alongside the ability to deliver consistently high standards within a busy workplace dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the day-to-day kitchen operation
- Create and develop fresh, innovative menus
- Deliver consistent food quality for up to 300 customers per day
- Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team
- Manage food costs, ordering and stock control
- Maintain excellent food safety and compliance standards
- Continually develop the food offer in line with customer expectations
- Experienced Head Chef or accomplished Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Strong background in international cuisine and authentic cooking
- Excellent knowledge of fresh ingredients, flavours and cooking techniques
- Experience delivering quality food within a busy operation
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Passionate about food quality, consistency and presentation
- Experience within contract catering, workplace dining, restaurants, hotels or high-volume hospitality would all be considered.
Salary: £55,000 per annum
