Account Director – Hospitality & Catering
Central London | Salary up to £80,000
We are seeking an experienced, commercially focused Account Director to lead a high-profile hospitality and catering operation in Central London.
You will take responsibility for service delivery, financial performance and team development across events, fine dining, corporate hospitality and multiple retail outlets. Working closely with the client and senior leadership team, you will maintain exceptional standards and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
The role
- Lead and develop Heads of Department to deliver outstanding food, hospitality and service.
- Manage operational plans, budgets and forecasts, driving profitability through growth and effective cost control.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and consistent delivery.
- Oversee an innovative food and beverage offer across hospitality, events and retail.
- Recruit, coach and retain talented teams, supporting development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, HR, environmental standards and contractual requirements.
- Champion innovation, sustainability and initiatives that improve the guest experience.
- Work closely with procurement to maintain an efficient, commercially effective supply chain.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, invoicing and client updates.
- Support client retention and wider business objectives.
About you
You will be an established Account Director or senior hospitality leader with:
- Experience managing a large site or group of operations with annual turnover of approximately £4 million or more.
- Strong knowledge of business and industry catering and the events sector.
- A proven track record across events, fine dining, corporate hospitality and multiple retail outlets.
- Strong financial management skills and evidence of improving commercial performance.
- The ability to inspire teams and build trusted client relationships.
Experience in contract catering, five-star hotels, premium restaurants or multi-site management would be an advantage.
