What's the role?
The Technician provides technical leadership for effective production, whilst overseeing technicians on individual projects as delegated by the Production Supervisor/ Projects Manager to ensure schedules are followed to meet production deadlines.
Work closely with projects, logistics, quality, and engineering to proactively solve problems in production and maximise the productivity of their delegated work task.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Production Supervisor and drive specific work activities delegated as part of the production plan.
- Provide technical leadership on work packages specifically assigned to problem-solve and make technical decisions in the absence of the team leader.
- Undertake assembly and build of equipment to meet production deadlines and to the highest quality standards.
- Take accountability for your team members and areas to drive professionalism and quality within the business.
- Communicate progress, issues, risks, and improvements to Production Supervisor/Project Managers Deputize for the team leader in their absence to ensure projects maintain momentum. Carry out in line checks to maintain quality throughout the build.

What we're looking for:
- Experience of Electrical/Mechanical switchgear assembly & wiring.
- Panel & Control wiring. Competent in reading electrical and mechanical drawings
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
