We are currently recruiting for an IT Purchasing Officer on a 12-month fixed term contract basis! As part of the wider Technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring that IT Purchase Orders are raised and approved, goods and services are received, and orders are receipted in an accurate and timely manner. The IT Purchasing Officer will liaise with teams and individuals across the business to align the purchasing process with our overall business strategy.

What you will do:

  • Raise purchase orders for the Technology department ensuring these are approved and in line with our overall PO process.
  • Receipt purchase orders based on the approved goods/services receipt.
  • Maintain and update purchase order tracker (Excel-based).
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve payment queries.
  • Keep the contractual system updated with new contracts.
  • Support in the maintenance of policies, handbooks, and frameworks.
  • Support the IT Supplier Relationship Manager with ad hoc activities as needed.

  • A good understanding of purchasing principles and processes; experience with purchase management software or automated procurement systems is highly advantageous.
