Estuary Vets is an Independent 100% small animal practice on the edge of Topsham, near Exeter, East Devon, which opened in May 2025. We are looking to recruit a full or part-time veterinarian as we transition from a start-up to an established part of the local veterinary community.
You will be joining a fun and diligent clinical team of two MRCVS (currently 1.6 FTE) and three RVN (3 FTE) in a purpose built, spacious and well equipped facility that offers room for expansion. We benefit from easy access, plenty of parking, and a peaceful setting beside the estuary in a beautiful part of East Devon.
Our client base is growing consistently and responsibly, with proactive clients who provide overwhelming positive feedback about our care standards. We aim to attract candidates with at least 2 years experience, but most importantly a confident generalist who enjoys teamwork but is also comfortable working at times in sole charge.
We would welcome and encourage a preference for specific areas of practice and will explore developing new services for the right person. We try to provide both high standard and versatile care with a personal touch, which respects the pet-owner-vet bond. We collectively embrace EVBM and a team based approach to learning and development to deliver great care, which we recognise can come in many forms.
We have an Out of Hours agreement with a local fellow independent practice. We currently have a surgical cert-holding vet and a diagnostic imaging cert-holding RVN, and readily work with peripatetic vets in cardiology, oncology, physio and acupuncture. An imminent investment in laparoscopic equipment with a team experienced at delivering this may interest applicants and will add to our already diverse offering.
This role offers the following benefits:

- Working up to 40 hours per week (full time) to include up to 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
