About the RoleYou’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do.
Here’s what a typical day involves:- Prepping food and drink
- Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
- Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
- Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
- Being active and on your feet for most of your shift
- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
- Great time management and planning skills
- Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
