We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials, including sheet metal. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies.

Duties

  • Perform TIG and MMA (stick welding) on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in TIG welding and MMA (stick welding) techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am until 4:30pm); Friday (8am until 3:30pm)
