Our client is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and distribution team in King's Lynn. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business within a busy warehouse operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties including forklift operation, order picking, packing, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift safely to move stock and materials within the warehouse
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Receiving, checking, and dispatching goods
  • Conducting basic goods-in and goods-out inspections
  • Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas, including pallet handling
  • Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch
  • Maintaining warehouse health and safety standards at all times
  • General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Assisting with stock rotation and inventory organisation

Candidate Requirements

  • A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Experience with picking and packing orders
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

  • Pm shift 3pm till midnight, Monday to Friday
  • Night shift 9pm - 6am Sunday to Friday morning
