We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client's team in King's Lynn. The primary focus of this role is manual turning, swagging, and universal grinding while ensuring high-quality precision work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manual turning with tight tolerances using a lathe
  • Additional machining tasks and intricate work as required
  • Second operation activities such as deburring
  • Housekeeping, Lean 6S, and maintenance activities

What We're Looking For

  • Apprentice-trained manual machinist or ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
  • Ability to work independently on manual lathes and swagging techniques
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and inspecting own work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Awareness of Healthy & Safety in a machine shop environment

Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am-4:30pm) Friday (8am-3:30pm)
