We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our clients team in King's Lynn. The primary focus of this role is manual turning, swagging, and universal grinding while ensuring high-quality precision work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual turning with tight tolerances using a lathe
- Additional machining tasks and intricate work as required
- Second operation activities such as deburring
- Housekeeping, Lean 6S, and maintenance activities
What We're Looking For:
- Apprentice-trained manual machinist or ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
- Ability to work independently on manual lathes and swagging techniques
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and inspecting own work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Aware of Health & Safety in a machine shop environment
Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am - 4:30pm), Friday (8am - 3:30pm)
