The Company: Estella Bartlett is a well-established fashion jewellery and accessories brand, selling to major department stores and independent retailers around the world.

The Job: We have recently launched an exciting jewellery line called The Edit, and we are looking for a dynamic salesperson to join us and grow the business. Your main remit will be to open new accounts in the UK & Europe. We are looking for an effective communicator with drive and a determination to exceed sales targets.

Territory: UK & Europe

Salary: Basic salary + commission + performance based bonus

Your main duties will be:

  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to open key accounts and establish new partnerships with retailers, agents and distributors
  • Achieve the yearly sales targets agreed with senior management
  • Work closely with retailers to ensure they are provided with all the support needed to grow sales
  • Organise and attend trade shows
  • Regularly liaise with other departments to ensure all accounts are traded appropriately and customers are receiving their deliveries in a timely manner
  • Provide weekly updates and sales reports to senior management

Key Skills/Experience required by the jobholder:

You will have at least 3 years of experience in a wholesale sales position within the Jewellery/ Fashion category. The ability to identify and target brand-appropriate retailers is important, as is keeping regular contact with your existing customers to maintain the business relationship. You will need to develop brand ambassadorial skills, to enable you to constantly promote and grow sales with existing customers, and you will possess a voracious appetite for opening new accounts wherever appropriate. Excellent negotiation skills will form part of your skill set, enabling you to secure the best in-store positions for our products. Merchandising according to brand plans and guidelines will become second nature as will training and empowering others to sell Estella Bartlett products. There will be support from senior management, but after your initial training you will require minimal day-to-day supervision. Weekly reporting on your activity, the market and our competitors, is essential, as is maintaining accurate customer records. Developing potential and promoting from within has always been Estella Bartlett’s modus operandi and we are looking for an individual to grow with the business.
