Esteem Care has been established in the area for over 15 years. With a fantastic team of well-trained care staff, we aim to deliver an outstanding service every time. We are looking for people who want to make a difference and have true respect for the role they will embark on. We aim to keep people safe and happy in their own homes for as long as needed. We are currently looking for full-time staff members to join our team in various runs we have in Dumfries.

Our main priority for this job role is to recruit passionate new Care Assistants, caring individuals with the right values, behaviours, and attitudes that match our own. The role is community-based and includes providing support and personal care for people in their own homes to help them to be safe and independent. Our service users are individuals, and all deserve to be treated as such.

A general guide to the duties we provide includes some support with personal care needs and preparing meals, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as gardening, shopping trips, and social occasions. No two days will be the same!

Working in care can be flexible, as your hours are usually based on shift patterns, so a work/life balance that suits you is achievable. Experience and qualifications are always desirable, but for this role, your values and attitude towards caring for our clients are the most important thing. Both Drivers and Walkers are welcome to apply.
