We are recruiting an experienced and inspiring Teacher to lead the primary site in Barrow Hill, Chesterfield, bringing a vibrant and engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons to pupils, including those with SEND and disengaged pupils.
  • Model high standards of curriculum delivery and serve as an exemplary role model for all staff.
  • Collaborate with staff to uphold a positive academy ethos and provide unconditional positive regard.
  • Adapt to flexible scheduling to meet the needs of pupils and the academy.
  • Contribute to Trust groups and participate in Inset training across multiple sites as required.
  • Manage a fast‑paced, physically and mentally demanding teaching environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in primary education with a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and working with SEND pupils.
  • Affinity for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
  • Resilience, high expectations, sense of humour and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Access to a car for business use and travel to meet training and teaching commitments.
