The Director of Corp. Demand Planning (DP) & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) will lead a team of Centers of Excellence (COEs) covering corporate Demand Planning (DP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and reporting & analytics. Acting as a shared "APAC/TR Corp IBP/DP team" for both APAC domestic and Travel Retail DP organizations, the role will supervise collaborations with cross-functional partners in Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to drive alignment and deliver business results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for the DP & IBP COE across APAC domestic and Travel Retail.
- Demand Planning: Establish and communicate a clear roadmap for demand planning and IBP processes.
- Process Development and Improvement: Design, implement, and continuously improve demand planning and IBP processes. Standardize planning processes across the organization, lead and drive best practice implementation identified from APAC domestic and Travel retail DP to ensure consistency and efficiency. Leverage advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to enhance planning accuracy.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of demand planning and IBP professionals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the COE. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Technology and Tools: Identify and implement best-in-class planning tools and technologies. Ensure effective use of planning systems and continuous improvement of system capabilities. Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to drive system enhancements and integration.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies. Develop and execute change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Monitor and address resistance to change to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable improvements.
- Data and Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to drive insights and support decision-making in demand planning and IBP. Implement advanced analytics techniques and tools to improve forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in demand planning, E2E Planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of demand planning and IBP processes, best practices, and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, o9 etc.) and data analytics tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
