As the Online Trading Manager you’ll be responsible for driving Brand.co.uk performance to exceed sales targets and KPIs. This role manages online sales strategy, leading e-commerce trade initiatives, optimizing user experience (UX), and overseeing marketing to drive traffic and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Trading, Sales & Finance: Define the UK website strategy to ensure growth and brand integrity. Collaborate with Finance/Sales to set and re-forecast sales targets. Conduct weekly performance analyses to identify opportunities and risks. Manage inventory, P&L, A&P investment, and seasonal events like ‘Gift with Purchase’.
- Marketing & Campaign Management: Own key metrics including traffic, conversion, and customer behavior. Oversee paid search, affiliates, display, SEO, and email strategy to maximize ROI. Collaborate with Digital/Social teams on integrated campaigns to support the customer journey.
- Website & User Experience: Take ownership of site content, ensuring alignment with global/UK strategies and seasonal activities. Partner with production teams to develop features that enhance the 'digital flagship' experience. Drive personalization initiatives and oversee the UK Loyalty Program to improve AOV and purchase frequency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the Online Team through coaching, feedback, and professional development. Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in e-commerce, digital marketing (PPC, SEO, email, affiliate), or retail sales.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial skills, including P&L management.
- Proficiency in web analytics and Microsoft Office (Power BI preferred).
- Proven leadership skills in team development and managing cross-functional partners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
