Description
Assistant Counter Manager role supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve sales, customer service and operational targets. The position is in a fast-paced retail environment and involves supervisory responsibilities, coaching, and store operations in prestige beauty.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales performance and productivity
- Lead, coach and manage the team to achieve sales and service targets
- Communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships across departments and within the store
- Plan, organise and execute in-store events
- Manage stock, inventory and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain high standards of working environment and administrative tasks to a high standard
- Be aware of competitor activity and drive an omni-channel approach
Qualifications
- Proven retail management/assistant management experience, preferably in cosmetics
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Previous supervisory experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and service targets
- Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
