The Education Assistant Manager plays a key behind-the-scenes role in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Education Strategy. This position focuses on the administrative and operational aspects of training, ensuring seminars run smoothly and efficiently while supporting the sales and education teams. Working closely with internal teams, the role involves coordinating training logistics, managing schedules, supporting recognition programmes, and maintaining clear communication between stakeholders. It also includes tracking seminar performance, assisting with reporting and budget management.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Sales & Service Education
    • Lead beauty advisor recognition programmes and manage uniform budget allocation.
    • Support the manager in enhancing sales-driven educational initiatives, ensuring that content is tailored to both in-store and online environments.
    • Influence the development of service experience tools, ensuring that they align with high-touch service principles and are effective across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Manage education and retail sales cost centres.
    • Support the manager in coaching the team, developing their skills in content creation, instructional design, and the use of digital learning technologies.
    • Assist in providing ongoing training and development to enhance team members' presentation, strategic thinking, and adult learning skills.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Design and deploy evaluations to assess training effectiveness.
    • Oversee the tracking and reporting of educational programme success, measuring the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and KPIs.
    • Continuously improve learning outcomes by gathering feedback from stakeholders and adjusting content or delivery methods as needed.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Coordinate training courses, including event/venue/BA registrations and travel management.
    • Ensure clear communication between sales, education teams, and head office.
    • Assist in organising beauty advisor recognition events, such as milestone store rewards and seasonal product launches.
    • Support the formatting of brand presentations to a high standard based on direction and brief.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Proven ability to leverage consumer insights to formulate action plans to deliver on strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Demonstrates analytic and strategic skills necessary to adapt strategy based on local opportunities and threats.

  • Business acumen with good analytical and commercial skills.

  • Experience in conflict and interpersonal interactions.
