Key Responsibilities
We’re excited to share that we have a National Account & Site Merchandising Manager role, responsible for the Italian market whilst based in our London office.
The National Account Manager & Site Merchandising role is responsible for managing day-to-day execution of ELC brands with a key pure-play retailer across multiple markets.
This includes site merchandising, promotional execution, and operational alignment with internal and external partners.
The role delivers flawless product/content setup and supports commercial goals while ensuring a premium customer experience.
What This Role Does
Professional working proficiency in Italian is essential, as the role manages commercial activity and stakeholder interactions in these markets.
- Strategic Planning
- Execute commercial activities supporting retail and net sales targets across pure-play retailer marketplaces
- Translate brand priorities into execution plans for PDPs, promotions, and Brand Stores
- Support the SNAM in identifying risks and opportunities for launches, merchandising, and commercial events
- Adapt brand content and promotional moments to the pure-play retailer environment
- Ensure proper registration and maintenance on Vendor Central and catalogue setup
- Build launch checklists, ensure high-quality product titles, bullets, descriptions
- Coordinate creation/upload of rich media
- Build the retailer-specific storefront
- Set up review-seeding programs as applicable
- Inventory and Supply Chain
- Use market data and tools to predict demand and align with supply chain teams
- Coordinate shipment plans and monitor inventory levels
- Manage PO lifecycle, availability, and replenishment to prevent out-of-stocks
- Account Management
- Manage operational execution across multiple brands
- Ensure content accuracy across imagery, copy, pricing
- Implement promotions and merchandising in line with commercial calendars
- Coordinate NPL setup, catalogues, and campaign activations
- Liaise with retailer partner contacts for issue resolution
- Data, Insights & Analysis
- Monitor KPIs: content health, availability, conversion, traffic
- Track promotional performance, elevate risks, and recommend optimisations
- Provide executional reporting for internal stakeholders
- Use dashboards and scorecards to drive content performance
- Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate daily with Brand Online, PXM, Marketing, Finance
- Ensure seamless asset handover and campaign alignment
- Escalate execution barriers to the SNAM
- Represent the retailer execution perspective in planning meetings
- Promotions & Merchandising
- Set up and monitor promotions across multiple program types
- Coordinate participation in peak commercial events (e. g., major retail tentpole events)
- Ensure compliance with MAP policies
- Own Brand Store refreshes seasonally
- Audit PDPs and Storefronts regularly
- Optimise SEO, titles, bullets, and A+ content
- Leverage retailer merchandising widgets
- What You Will Need To Be Successful In This Role
- Bilingual Fluency: Professional-level Italian (written and verbal) to lead communication and strategy for the Italian market.
- Platform Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Vendor Central to manage high-volume digital trading.
- Commercial Background: Proven experience in National Account Management and Site Merchandising with pure-play retailers.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to partner effectively across multiple departments to align brand and commercial goals.
- Strategic Organisation: A high degree of structure and the ability to pivot between multiple competing priorities.
- Influencing Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and change management capabilities.
- Analytical Depth: Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable growth strategies using MS Office.
