The Role
As a Residential Property Manager, you will take full ownership of a dedicated portfolio from move-in to tenancy end. You will act as the trusted partner for our landlords and tenants, ensuring their properties are flawlessly maintained and fully compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, delivering proactive and empathetic service.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinate routine and emergency repairs with our trusted network of contractors, ensuring quality work and fair pricing.
- Compliance: Ensure all managed properties meet strict UK housing regulations, including Gas Safety, EICRs, EPCs, and licensing requirements.
- Tenancy Cycles: Manage end-to-end tenancy renewals, check-outs, and deposit negotiations/disputes.
- Inspections: Conduct periodic property visits to ensure standards are maintained and generate detailed reports for landlords.
About You
We are looking for a confident, structured professional who already understands the fast-paced nature of the London property market.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of residential property management experience within a UK estate agency or property firm.
- Organisation: Superb time-management skills with the ability to handle a busy workload while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you can handle difficult conversations with tact, calm, and diplomacy.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of current AST legislation and compliance regulations.
- Qualifications: An ARLA/Propertymark qualification is advantageous, though not essential.
