One of Swansea\’s leading firms of independent financial advisers wishes to appoint a Paraplanner.
This role involves providing technical and administrative support to financial advisers, including research of suitable financial products to meet our clients needs, processing business, creating technically accurate reports, recording and managing existing business and client relationships and maintaining statistical information and office administration.
Responsibilities
- Researching financial products
- Analysing data
- Producing recommendation reports
- Maintaining back-office records
- Updating back-office system re new clients and new business information.
- Processing new business, both manually and using online facility.
- Managing new business pipeline.
- Corresponding with clients and service/product provider
Required skills:
- Level 4 Diploma advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Proficiency with IT systems including back office systems. Experience of Intelligent Office advantageous but not essential;
- office experience, including face-to face client interaction and technical letter writing;
- Willingness to learn;
- Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised.
A flexible approach by the successful candidate is key to this role. Full training will be given and support for professional qualifications.
This is an office based role.
The post will be suitable for somebody with relevant experience within the financial services industry. A suitable degree and/or CII qualifications will be essential for this role.
Competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications.
