This is an on-site role for a Private Equity Intern located in West London. The intern will assist in evaluating investment opportunities in funds and companies, conducting due diligence, and analyzing financial data.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the investment team in market research
- Conducting due diligence
- Preparing portfolio reports
- Developing investment models
The role requires collaboration with team members to assess the performance and strategy of fund investments and identify new prospects.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in analytical skills for evaluating investment opportunities and conducting data analyses
- Knowledge of finance and investments, particularly within the private equity or fund-of-funds space
- Experience or familiarity with due diligence processes
- Interest in and understanding of the private equity sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools, Microsoft Excel, and presentation tools
- Knowledge of database environments (SQL, Snowflake) and coding is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field
- Prior internship or work experience in investment management, private equity, or related sectors is a plus
