Sales Support Administrator in Skelmersdale

We are recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join the team here at our Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Skelmersdale!

In this busy and important role you will be the main point of contact for administrative support for our corporate Sales team as well as customers and prospects. Your daily responsibilities will include processing sales invoices, taxation forms and ensuring stock information is maintained and updated on the stock database.

Package Details:

• Competitive salary
• Based onsite in Skelmersdale
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
• 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays
• Permanent

Role Responsibilities:

• Processing new and used sales orders, including vehicle registration, invoicing and taxation of vehicles
• Raising PO’s to external suppliers
• Processing and arranging vehicle transfer requests and ensuring relevant documentation is obtained
• Issuing PDI (pre-delivery inspection) work to the relevant workshop
• Processing part exchange requests
• Locating sold orders not in stock and ordering or arranging necessary transfer and payment, updating customer and Sales team as necessary
• Monitoring and updating vehicle delivery schedules, helping to ensure timely arrival and handover to customers
• Ensuring that vehicle stock records and database are maintained and updated with sold or new vehicles as required
• Assisting in vehicle stock take
• Assisting in collating sales invoices and other data for month end analysis

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a commercial vehicle environment
• Knowledge of vehicle specifications and vehicle ordering systems
• Experience with Kerridge (desirable)
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles and systems (desirable)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team to achieve business objectives
• Attention to detail
• Strong organisation skills
• Strong IT skills and the ability to learn and use new systems
