Business Development Manager – ESTAR Education
Hybrid 37.5 hours per week — Newcastle/Northumberland — Executive progression route.
Salary: £28,000–£32,000 + £100 per learner placed (uncapped).
ESTAR Education is a newly approved DfE-funded apprenticeship provider entering a rapid scale phase. We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to lead employer acquisition and apprenticeship placements across Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Digital and Low Carbon programmes.
Who We Are Looking For
- A self-starter who doesn’t need micro-managing.

- Experienced in apprenticeships or B2B training sales (or capable of ramping fast).
- Professional and credible with employers at manager and board level.
- Able to build and control a sales pipeline independently.

- Excited by joining a founding team where decisions are made at the table.
What You Will Do
- Acquire new employers and secure apprenticeship placements nationwide.
- Sell and promote programmes: Engineering L2, Motor Vehicle, Low Carbon, Business Admin, Ops Mgmt, Project Mgmt etc.
- Run consultations, proposals and onboarding calls with employers.
- Attend events, networking and sector forums to drive brand presence.
- Own and manage your revenue pipeline end-to-end.
- Work directly with the CEO and Chief Education Officer on strategy and scale.
