We are partnering with a global leader in genetics to appoint a Senior Technical Swine Specialist to support key customers across the UK & Ireland. The organisation is a global pioneer in animal genetic improvement, working with some of the world’s most advanced pork producers. The focus is on improving biological performance, efficiency, and financial outcomes across swine production systems.
The Senior Technical Swine Specialist will provide high-level technical and commercial support to key swine customers, helping them maximise both biological performance and profitability. This is a field-based role combining on-farm technical expertise with data-driven analysis and close collaboration with producers, integrators, and business owners.
You will work side-by-side with customers to identify performance gaps, develop practical action plans, and support implementation to drive measurable improvement.
- Deliver and execute the technical programme across key customer accounts in the UK & Ireland
- Support customers in improving biological performance and financial outcomes
- Analyse production and performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Work closely with commercial and supply chain teams to ensure aligned customer delivery
- Act as a trusted partner to producers, integrators, and key account stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of technical services and customer value
Requirements:
- Strong background in swine production (on-farm or technical support role)
- Experience working with key accounts, producers, or business owners
- Ability to interpret production and financial performance data
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel across UK & Ireland (approx.)
- Fluent English
- Degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Nutrition, or related field
- Experience in swine genetics, animal health, feed, or production systems
