We are recruiting for a proactive individual to join a national law firm as a Communications Executive.
You will be supporting the head of department and the communications team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and develop in a growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Attending meetings, as directed, with key members of the team;
- Supporting the firm's social media which includes Twitter, blogs, Linkedin, website, etc.;
- Engaging with social media influencers and ambassadors;
- Adhering to social media guidelines as set out by the firm;
- Developing a rapport with the media;
- Organising photography, calls and drafting briefs for the press;
- Conducting market research;
- Handling crisis management, this includes liaising with the press, drafting statements, managing social media postings and all internal communications;
- Research and drafting news stories, blog posts and articles;
- Maximising the impact of original media on the firm's site and social media;
- Maintaining a high standard of work.
- Key Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office packages and social media platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, etc.
- Research skills, good working knowledge of current affairs within the sector;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Previous experience in a similar environment or professional services;
- Degree level or equivalent.
