About the opportunity
The role of Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Marketing Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out promotions, collateral development, lead processing and customer engagement. You will develop and maintain the marketing system automation for lead generation and processing in addition to carrying out all marketing administration.
This role is with a well-established engineering organisation experienced in global markets. The company has built a strong reputation and established strong relationships with its clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team and contribute to the company\’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with content creation for all media types (includes renders, photos, video, etc.).
- Development and maintenance of automations for lead generation, lead processing, customer engagement and customer nurturing. Utilising CRM system automation (current platform is Salesforce) as part of this development to wherever possible deliver leads directly to sales team via CRM system.
- Website content review and updating. Plus, involvement in developing the customer journey and experience.
- Website analytics development and reporting.
- Involved with the advertising / promotion of company and products via all media channels.
- Social Media post creation, scheduling and development.
- Prepare, issue, maintain and develop company newsletter.
- Maintain and develop marketing and general company areas of organisation’s intranet.
- Build and maintain database of product and application photos, images and descriptions.
- Organising and delivering accurate language translations for all media types.
- Customer survey development, implementation and reporting.
- Event administration and organisation (includes exhibitions, customer visits, seminars, webinars, etc.).
- Maintain any physical marketing collateral stock (e.g. product exhibits, brochures, manuals, merchandise, etc.).
- Issue company media to sales team, sales network and customers. Including relating communications & promotion.
- Involved with the market research for campaigns (e.g. new market entry, new industry entry or expansion).
- Monitor, log and report marketing KPIs.
- General department administration.
- The job holder will be required to do any other task, which is within their capabilities, which he/she has been trained to do and which complies with the company’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in online marketing particularly for website and social media.
- Experience of using SalesForce CRM and Salesforce Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
- Experience of marketing products or services is required. Engineering company related experience is desirable.
- Previous experience in literature development is desirable.
- Methodical and thorough approach to work with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and quality.
- Strong PC skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
- Good capability and skills in Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
- A working knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite / Cloud software (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Able to work on own initiative, and equally as part of a team.
- Formal marketing qualification or training is desirable.
